Zenlink: what is this

Zenlink is the underlying cross-chain DEX protocol based on Polkadot and aims to become Polkadot’s composite DEX hub. With access to an open and universal Substrate-based cross-chain DEX protocol, the Zenlink DEX protocol allows all parachains to create DEXs and exchange liquidity in one click. The Zenlink DEX Protocol includes flexible and adaptive blocks such as Module, WSAM, and EVM, allowing you to create custom combinations and interact with various DeFi modules.

In addition, Zenlink DEX Aggregator connects all DEX DApps on Polkadot and aggregates liquidity to ensure low trading slippage. The Zenlink DEX Composable Hub allows developers to access the Zenlink DEX Module to create their own unique DEXs, forming a DEX composable hub for the Polkadot ecosystem.

Currently, Zenlink has received two rounds of Web3 Foundation grants and investments from several well-known organizations.

Zenlink DEX Protocol

The unified DEX upper layer protocol includes the following three implementations:

Module

Module to Substrate Runtime Module Library (SRML) according to the Zenlink protocol standard. Parachains can quickly integrate with it to get DEX functionality and even share liquidity with other DEXs on other parachains.

EVM contract

This is a contract development mode adopted for compatibility with the operation of the Ethereum EVM, as well as a transition scheme adopted at the initial stage of the Polkadot network. The Zenlink DEX EVM version implements all the functions at the protocol level, improves the testing process, and can also be deployed for the first time on the EVM contract parachain, which greatly expands the applicability of the platform.

WASM contract

This is the original implementation of the Polkadot contract, and it is also the main development mode of the Polkadot network contract in the future. The Zenlink DEX WASM version has the ability to develop on the WASM contract platform.

Zenlink DEX DApp

It is a simple and user-friendly DEX entry aggregator that is able to connect to most DEXs on Polkadot so that a user can trade multiple DEXs simultaneously with one click and with low slippage.

Token Zenlink

A native Zenlink DEX protocol token that can be used to distribute rewards for providing liquidity, governance, etc.

Zenlink SlotVault

Zenlink SlotVault is a smart pool created by Zenlink to support more parachain projects participating in the auction and to satisfy the demand for more non-parachain projects to participate in PLO.
